IMPORTANT!!! Read these instructions before commenting...
Class,
Thank you all. I am still waiting on Group A to submit their work. In the meantime you will see below photos detailing Groups B-D finished color wheels.
As explained in last Wednesday's class, please look over each of your classmate’s images below. I have divided them up per group to make it easier to decipher.
Each of you (as an individual, NOT as a group) are to leave two (2) pros and two (2) cons for each image.
Please discuss the following subjects
- Originality – Is this an original, creative approach or does it seem uninspiring and bland? Is it three-dimensional as required by the assignment?
- Does it effectively use all 12 hues on the color wheel in addition to tints and/or shades?
- Are the progression of values per hue consistent?
- What would YOU have done differently?
Please consolidate all of your comments into one post but be specific as to which group you are criticizing; so long as each of you have left constructive criticism for each group.
I will not accept short sentences.
I have posted a link to the handout from last Wednesday's class (see links below) detailing examples of good comments and unacceptable comments (such as "I like it" or "it is good").
Be detailed in your critique.
*** An additional 5 points will be added to your individual assignment grade for acceptable comments.
You must complete the survey and leave your comments by 6pm Tuesday (August 16th).
Failure to complete the survey and leave your comments within the allotted time frame will result in an absence for Monday's class and a '0' for your part of the assignment (even if your group turned it in on time). Note: This will not affect the other members in your group.
